Rejoicing Comes in the Morning

The world got a little dimmer yesterday as we laid to rest my Grandad Ed. He was a man of faith, integrity and honor, serving his country as a Paratrooper in WWII and his God in both his job as a preacher and in his daily life.

I couldn't have asked for a better example of a life of faith and service. His devotion to my grandmother and our family was unmatched. He truly was one of a kind.
We knew he wouldn't live for ever, but we sure wish he could have.

Grandad Ed, we rejoice knowing that you're in Heaven, but we sure will miss you.

Meredith, I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandad. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. It's so wonderful that we both had such wonderful men for grandfathers!

Meredith, Cortney told me about your Grandad & I am so sorry. I too had such a wonderful christian Poppa growing up. He's been gone for many years & I still miss him. I wish my girls had gotten to know him. But, I also know he is in a better place and watches over us daily. Becky

Hi Meredith,
I just wanted to say that Nathan and I are so sorry about your grandfather.
I hope that I'll get to meet you soon now that you live so close to the Haines. Rachel E. and I were just talking about all the crazy connections between our four families yesterday.
